About
Deborah K. Banks Ministries
In (May 2,009), I founded Deborah K. Banks Ministries, an itinerant ministry specializing in Spirit-led worship. My desire is to help lead believers into a true move of the Spirit through anointed music and instruction from God's Word. As a qualified musician, a skilled minister, and an experienced worship leader, I'm also equipped to train worship teams in local churches to flow with the Spirit of God during corporate services.
I believe authentic, Word-based praise and worship is a key ingredient to opening the rivers of the supernatural. When we worship God through our voices or our instruments, we create an environment for Him to move and demonstrate Himself. As we learn to flow with the Spirit of God in worship, our lives will be completely transformed and God will be magnificently glorified.

Meet Deborah
Hi! My name is Deborah K. Banks. Many of you may know me from years ago as the wild lady on the organ who traveled with Kenneth E. Hagin and the Rhema Singers and Band. Those were some great times of experiencing the wonderful presence of God!
Since my days of being on the road and playing with RS&B, I've continued leading worship in a variety of ministry settings. I currently travel to different churches across the nation teaching on Spirit-led worship, training worship leaders, and leading believers into the presence of God through anointed music.
Ministry and music have been an integral part of my life since childhood. I was born in Champaign, Illinois to a family of talented musicians, preachers, and educators. I pursued my studies in music and received my Bachelors of Art in Music Education with an instrumental emphasis from the University of Illinois in 1974.
As a self-taught organist, I taught music education in various private and public sectors for nine years. I was the Music Director for the University of Illinois Black Chorus, and I assisted with the album recording for Bethel A.M.E. Church in Champaign, Illinois. I have also performed with many renowned Gospel artists such as the O’Neil Twins, Shirley Caesar, James Cleveland, and Mattie Moss Clark.
In 1981, I received and accepted the call to ministry. Four years later, I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible Training College, founded by Kenneth E. Hagin. After graduating in 1987, I was employed by Kenneth Hagin Ministries as Assistant to the Ministry of Music.
During my tenure for the Hagins, I founded and directed the Victory Singers, a Rhema student ensemble, and FUSION, the Rhema Bible Church youth choir. I also became an integral part of the Kenneth E. Hagin Crusade Team, also known as the Rhema Singers and Band.
After working for Rhema, I moved to Southfield, Michigan and faithfully served as Minister of Music for six years at Word of Faith International Christian Center, pastored by Bishop Keith A. Butler. Later, I served as Minister of Music for four years at Word of Faith Christian Centre Church in Toronto, Canada. The Lord then moved on my heart to begin traveling and ministering in word and song.
My ministry objectives include preaching God's Word and providing sound Biblical teaching on the importance of the ministry of music. I focus on teaching the divine origin and purpose of music, and I believe my boldness and no-nonsense style of preaching will be a blessing to many in the Body of Christ.
